Vertical Accumulator

The Model VBA-12 is unique among the Entech Fabrications products offerings.  This custom design evolved from a customer need to provide frequent, on-demand accumulation on a high speed box filler and case packer line.  Limited space precluded more conventional accumulation methods.  When the downstream case packer is stopped, a signal is sent to the accumulator and product is accumulated in 7'0" long slugs.  The Product slug is lifted straight up in the manner of a vertical carousel, and a new one is assembled.  The magazine as shown here provides twelve minutes worth of vertical accumulation.  When the case packer restarts, the product slugs are automatically sequenced back into the line.
